I got these on sale and for the $ they are a great value. The finish is more prone to rusting than top brands like Snap On, but for the price you can't complain. The set I got was Made In The USA, however new stock (from what I've seen) is made in China and unless you buy the China made set at a huge discount, the value isn't as good. Low quality Chinese made tools are a dime a dozen and if you don't want to pay extra for the Craftsman name you can buy Chinese made impact socklets much cheaper elsewhere. Sad to see the last mass marketer of (mostly) USA made handtools switching to offshore production. Once the old USA made stock is depleted it looks like we'll have to go to tool trucks and industrial suppliers if we want domestically made tools.
These used to be top-of-the-line sockets until Donaher moved their manufacturing to China. They are NOT the same! Come on Sears, move them back, we will pay the difference!!!!!!!
They are good tools
