This is a great set to add to your tool set, the ratchet is much higher quality than the basic Craftsman ratchet. Extensions, adaptors and swivels come in handy often, this one includes a super long extension. The speed wrench is great for sinking in lag bolts. I never found a use for the T handle wrench though. This is a good add on set besides the shorter extensions most of the tools are not in most of the regular tool sets.
I waited patiently to get this tool set. Now I finally get it abd it's not wrapped and all the pieces rubbed each other and are scratch badly. If I saw this in store I would not purchase them. Do not let them ship to you! They seem not to care about it.. only care about your money. I would submit a picture but there is no attachment here.
I was mostly interested in the low profile Craftsman 84 tooth quick release ratchet included with these. It's made in Taiwan and has a good heavy feel in my opinion.
The long 3/8" drive full polish extension is also a good value in this set.
If I remember correctly, these were shipped to the store (from Seattle) for pick up in a brown cardboard box which was clean and undamaged.
A tool truck salesman would likely charge more than $150 for these same accessories without the fine toothed ratchet.
I did not find any flaws in the chrome finish on these tools and expect they will last a lifetime.
very good set of tools and very cheap. I will recommend to my friends.
I was looking for the slider bar in this set and buying the set on sale made more sense than buying the bar by itself at normal price. The slider bar is fine but does not have a centering stop. The fine toothed ratchet is nice. The flex handle is the same size as the one I've had for a decade but does not have the positive stops at 45 and 90 degrees that the old one did. The speeder handle works ok it is longer by a couple inches and slightly thinner than the one I've had for years. The adapters and the 4 short extensions are good. The detent mechanism in the extension square recesses are different than I'm used to but effective, maybe a bit of a pain to get . The 20" extension is quite long and even catty cornered does not fit easily in a 20" box since the drawers and interior folds take up quite a bit of room and the extension is actually almost a 20.5" overall. The universal joint looks ok. All in all everything fits and works together although it can be a real pain to get the 3/8" to 1/4" adapter off the slide bar. I end up having to insert the back of a knife blade between the tools to get them separated. Everything else seems to work as intended.
