I own the 12 pc metric box set and like it so much I ordered the SAE set. There aren't many american vehicles left that still us SAE fasteners but I wanted this set since I routinely find myself working on older american vehicles. This is a great set of wrenches that will last a lifetime. You won't be unhappy with this set! My set has the double VV foundry mark with one of the V's inverted that I have found to be of superior quality in past years. I was absolutely ecstatic when I opened the box to find the double V!!!
I'm used to seeing USA stamped on Craftsman sockets, ratchets, and wrenches. Sadly, that's a thing of the past. The finish on these wrenches is rough with burrs and the raised panels are very sharp on most of them, not acceptable at all. I'll probably keep them, but I'm going to have to smooth down the edges with a tiger paw disc. Some of the size markings are not stamped properly on various wrenches either, what happened Sears? These are nowhere near the quality of the Craftsman wrenches I bought years ago.
I don't know how good or bad these are , waited over a month after paying for them to NOT SHOW UP ! Only thing I got was EXCUSES....Great customer service .... NOT !!!!
I caught this set for 26.99 , what a deal , don't hesitate if yo find it anywhere near that price , GREAT SET
Wow!! This wrench set includes almost all the sizes needed at home and at a reputable shop.
So I look up box wrench set. Find this 12 pc set. The specifications show 16 SAE opening sizes. ?? 12 wrench set with 16 SAE sizes. Does not compute. Plus the item is "Not Available for Shipping" and is not available at local Sears store. What is that about. Why would you list it on a web page if it is not available anywhere?
