I'm a tool junky. Keeping my tools organized from job site to job site has always been a problem. When these bags went on sale I bought 4 of them. They're well crafted and should last a long time.
Come on Sears, you make a reasonably useful bag, and you skimp on materials that is on the front line of usability - the zipper pull? I bought a 2-pack. Eager to organize my tools I grasped the pull to open the zipper and the cheap pull breaks off where the loop of the pull connects to the zipper. Thinking it a fluke, I tried the second bag and the exact same think happened. Pieces of ****! My work-around was to attach a string on one and a round key ring on the other bag to serve as pulls. Craftsman quality? I think not.
Craftsman quality sears outstanding service. Can't go wrong
The product is durable and exactly what I was looking for a nice size bag to hold my husband tools.
I had one of these tool bags on my work bench for years, and I decided to buy 6 more. Here's why... (1)Up until now I put all of my tools into a large craftsman tool box on wheels. This tool box became too heavy to lift in and out of my pickup truck. (2)These medium size bags do not get very heavy even when fully loaded. (3) These medium sized tool bags fit perfectly in my RAMBOX built in storage compartments on my Ram truck (4) I bought them on a great sale, therefore they were very inexpensive compared to other brands.
I used these bags for tools, carrying shooting accessories to the range, and the large ones make nice duffel bags for overnight trips.
Durable. Each side of the length of the bag has a rod stitched underneath each side of the zipper to keep the bag open neatly when you unzip it (so the bag doesn't just collapse inward on itself). The floor of the bag has cardboard in the lining so that bag keeps its boxy shape.
My husband always wanted to have something that can hold his small necessary tools and this one is just the right one.
