1st mower bought brand new and has required some sort of repair almost every time I use it. The mowing deck design causes the problem. I have replaced more belts, bolts, etc., than an be imagined and whether I do it or have a Sears technician come out makes no difference.
I cannot afford to replace it and am unable to sell it in good conscience to anyone else, so I am stuck. This is the first Craftsman product that has been so problematic for me.
Drive belt fits perfect and seems to be good quality. The original belt lasted 10 plus years, so fingers crossed on this one.
You get what you pay for. This is a great belt. I replaced the old one which was still in working condition. It wasn't broken but I didn't want to be halfway through the yard when it chose to break. Even though it showed some age it still was in great condition.
