I received a toolset like this in 1969 as Christmas present from my father. I still have the tools today and they are still in great shape. The only piece that shows any wear or damage is the tool box itself but I have carried and dropped it many times. You can't beat Craftsman tools.
i saw this set of Craftsman tools on Sears online site were on sale. I could order them or pick them up at my local sears. Before I purchased them I wanted to see them so I headed to my local Sears. I checked them out and they were what I wanted so I took them to the register to pay. When they rang up $15 dollars more than the online price I asked why. The helpful cashier said "oh, if then we need to go to a different terminal where she placed an online order for me and selected the 'pickup in store' option. I left with the tools. Then a week later I start getting email notifications that my tool order is ready for pickup at my local Sears. Whaaaat? And the notices kept coming. I started to think the only way to stop them from continuing these notifications would be for me to pick up the second, and free, set of tools. I didn't. And it also begs the question "if they didn't think I left with the tools, when there was plenty of stock in the store, why did it take a week to send me a notice? Sears, I'm afraid you won't be with us much longer, and that makes me sad.
Good assortment of tools for the price.
Perfect set for our college son. Half price & free shipping!
it was a very smooth process. very well satisfied with product & service. I use it on every tool time i have no matter what the job is, mostly for auto repair though. A great set to start with, add to, or even go mobile with it. All it is missing is some important extensions or a vary of them. maybe trade in some of the screw bits I dont know. but overall it is great.
