Recommend everyone have the C3 19.2V drill and impact driver

I bought the same kit a year ago. Works great. And finally everyone in the family can drive screws if they use the impact driver! I love the whole C3 19.2v series. Plenty of power. The batteries hold plenty of power and recharge quickly. I bought this kit for my daughter. Now, like dad, she can screw things up faster and better.

I feel SEARS has terrible e-mail services. I have 8-items ordered for Christmas and should of had them 3-weeks ago. Still no date for shipment of items. If you need item now, go to store to buy....

Broken Drill

Dear Sir?Madam:

I am writing to you to help in repair/compensation for my drill/driver <model No.5275.1. It was a combo set I ordered and received along with a impact driver, two batteries and a charger. I paid cash via Paypal for a total of $87.24. The impact drill is like new, however, the drill has been used to do small projects for church.

Here is how it broke in half when it fell off of my workbench (28 inches high) onto the floor in my garage. I know it's over a year, however, I have had several drills before and they worked for years! No problems.

The shipping invoice is very faint, however, here is the salescheck# 09003222918, shipped to: James H. Whitaker, 1245 Mashie Lane, Rocky Mount, NC 27804.

Please advise. Thank you for your assistance.

James H Whitaker

great combo kit

i have many of the 19.2volt craftsman tools this kit being my latest purchase approximately 1 year ago. they are all good quality tools that do exactly how they are described. over the last several years i have accumulated a large collection of craftsman 19.2 cordless tools but now it seems craftsman is trying to phase out these tools replacing them with the 20 volt cordless tools. i hope this is not true because of all the 19.2 cordless tools i have accumulated over the years. please craftsman or sears, keep these tools available.i am sure the 20volt tools are great, but i dont want to start all over having to eventually replace all these exceptional tools. sell both 19.2 and 20volt. i am sure it wont hurt your profitable gain. if anything, your profits will expand even more. eventually all my 19.2 batteries will loose power and become useless, therefore making all my 19.2 cordless tools useless.if that happens i guess i will not purchase craftsman tools ever again. there are many other guality brands out there. i dont want that to happen because these tools are great and i have always trusted and have had great success with craftsman. please keep these tools available. thank you.

Less than 2 years

Do not buy this set. I have had these less than 2 years used them a few times around the house. Both of the batteries went out at the same time they won't even charge anymore. The warranty is only good for one year with a receipt. I was also told that they won't even be making those batteries anymore. I have to say that I am disappointed at craftsmen for this product. I could also assure you that my next drill set will not be a Craftsman product.

Love this Drill Combo

Purchased to replace the old cordless drills and could not be more pleased. Plenty of power and battery life.
