Does not fit YT4000 tractor

I purchased this thinking it would fit my 46" YT4000 tractor. Description states it fits 42 to 46" right? The price was right and the frame came fully assembled since it had been installed on another tractor for display at my local hometown store. Everything was included except the original box which I had no use for anyway. I brought it home, took a quick look at the installation instructions and proceeded to attach the framework to my tractor. Pretty straightforward installation called for mounting 4 bolts to the tractor's frame and sliding the bagger frame onto them. Fine and bagger frame lined up and mounted perfectly, after a couple slight adjustment of the bolt depths. then you add the bags and the (2) piece chute and your done, or so you think. The bottom of the chute, the piece that attaches to the opening on your tractor, with a couple rubber clips where the grass comes out, was too small. This is NOT designed for a 46' tractor. Here's a little hint. Under the engine cowl there's a sticker. On this sticker you'll find info (part and item #) listing all the attachments that will fit your particular model tractor.

Easy to install on tractor

We bought this a few weeks ago to finish picking up our leaves in our yard. Works great. easy to use and empty, especially for more mature persons.

Time Saver

Purchased this item with my Craftman rider and I am please with the product. Had a Craftman rider since 2000 with the hard bins, which would separate at times.

Doesn't quite measure up to previous models

With the nice weather arriving I was finally able to break out the tractor and install the new bagger and have to say I am disappointed. This new version does not compare with older models. There is no easy access to the shoot if you end up with a clog. You have to make sure you put the seat up or you won't be able to open the bagger and I actually preferred the hard bags that came with older models. Wish I could give a better review but this just doesn't have what the previous models had.

Took about 45 minutes to put together, I took my time, put each bolt/band in place. I was amazed at just how much this thing actually picked up! I had cut the grass really low two weeks before getting the bagger, laid weed killer pellets and had really good rain twice during the week. This thing acts like a yard vacuum as I saw remnants of the tiny small weed pellets each time I unloaded.
