I have a Mark VIII I rarely drive. I put these in the rear to keep the load off of the air ride shocks while garaged. Stable, Reliable, only use at the minimum height, but for what I bought them for, perfect.
I read a few reviews after about how cheaply made these were, And when they arrived I seen exactly what the others were saying. Thin gauge metal, poor looking welds. Would not be comfortable getting under a car with these. VERY DISAPPOINTED in Craftsman for outsourcing the production to China. So I guess we just pay for the name and not the quality....
I love them. Just the size I was looking for. Great price. Bought 8.
... but they look like toys. They?re fine for light duty trucks and cars. Nothing raised from stock. They?re welded 1? angle iron and 1? strap. After using them, I?m confident they?ll hold my vehicles.
?I think they?re better than the press brake sheet metal models that are more expensive. I?ve seen those catastrophically fail, folding along the seam. JMO.
Working with my Nash Metropolitan, needed two extra 2.25 jack stands to work on brakes. Sturdy and well build product.
