I have a full size van and this is small enough to be movable from front to back.Has plenty of power for getting the sand out of the carpet . I am really pleased with the product.
I bought this item to be used solely as a wet vac. For small spills the suction isn't strong enough to completely suck up the spill, leaving a puddle, so a mop would be required anyway. So why bother with this vac? For larger liquid pick-ups, even though the bucket is 2.5 gallons, the motor shuts off after about 0.75 gallons is sucked in. So for larger spills one has to constantly empty the vac, making this item very inconvenient. The attachment clips for attaching the upper motor portion with the bucket are very hard to use and not that sturdy; again, making this vac very inconvenient. Therefore, as a wet vac, this item is useless.
Got this pretty much strictly for cleaning my cars. Hangs on the wall so I do not lose floor space in my garage. The hose is a little short, but the size and versatility make up for this. I know Craftsman isn't what it used to be, so I just hope it holds up. My old Ridgid is 15 years old and the casters are broken so I'm hoping this can fit the needs for a while. Thanks Sears!
Very powerful, does a fantastic job
