I was really impressed how easily this mower handled my grass that had grown out of control. It's first time mowing was a real test and it passed with flying colors. Awesome mower for the money.
the mowing deck is a pice of light weight junk..belts wont stay on only able to mow on 1 setting if your able to mow at all ...ive hAD 2 BOTH JUNK thought maby 1st was a lemmon..nope theyre all a pice of junk...tractor runs good...deck is trash
it does the job, but needs more power, my old 42" 14hp mtd briggs/stratton would run circles around this one, just hope this one lasts 15yrs. also
blades dull really easy
My husband was excited about this lawnmower, but after a couple of cuts, the blade were bent and it made a noisy sound. He changed blades which were out of stock at Sears for a while but it still sounds like a piece of junk. He actually fixed his old mower by CabCadet and uses it. Had purchase.
Bought it at a sears outlet for $700 because someone returned it. I should have spent the money for a better machine. The motor is weak. The tractor is poorly made. At five years the spindles rusted through. The paint has already flaked off. It is just a cheap poor quality machine. The tires are already starting to dry rot. I will say the seat is still in pristine shape. Now if you only expect 5 years out of your tractor because it is so cheap then fine but I have bought craftsman tractors before that have really lasted. This one disappointmented me.
This was perfect for my yard and it has the right amount of power and size.
