I would buy this tractor again

Just got it yesterday , cut the lawn, smooth ride and a lot quieter than my previous tractor. Sort of confusing forward and reverse I have to turn the ignition key to a certain position, press a triangle button, THEN shift a lever to reverse, in order to go reverse , lots of steps when your in the process of mowing.

Great mower, but...

Great mower, smooth ride and takes a bit of time to get use to the reverse cutting operation. My gripe is the maintenance of changing the blades. It should have been added,"tools required to change the blades". The blade nut is torqued on, so you will not be able to remove it. You will need... 24mm socket, the inch sockets you have will not fit. An impact gun like used in auto shop. You will not be strong enough by hand. You need a lift to raise it up enough to get the gun under it. I think they expect you to purchase these items from Sears. Or you can pay a the service tec to come out and do it for you whenever you want a sharp cut. Either way, it will still cost you. I had a tec come out and he went thru the same procedure and confirmed the above info. What a way to sell your other products. Not my first ride on. A beautiful lawn requires a sharp blade. I

Great for about a year

Then your transmission is going to go out costing you about $700.00 to replace.

Won't buy from Sears again

Not real happy with service. Delivery people dropped mower off without owners Manuel. The seat won't lock in place. Called and was told someone would call a week ago to make appt to check it out. Haven't heard from any one. Service is lousy. Won't buy from Sears again
