Good cordless drill

Ordered online and picked up at my local store. Inside the box was a carrying case with the drill motor, two 20V batteries, and one charger. Plugged the charger in the outlet and the light lit up ready to charge. Charged fully both batteries which took a very short time.Went through the operational features and was pleased to find the drill had a variable speed trigger. First project was replacing a light cove on my deck and the tool had plenty of torque to remove the deck screws. Pre-drilled holes in the new oak trim boards with the tool and then attached with deck screws. The drill lasted for the whole project without any issues. It was time to charge one battery but I still had a battery that was fully charged and not used for that project. I have no issue with the tool and look forward to many more successful projects with this new, light weight and easy to use drill.

USED - When I bought new

|

I bought this drill for my husband for Christmas, the box looked great. I wrapped it and he opened it on Christmas. He said this was a lower quality than he was supposed to be receiving. It was supposed to come with two (2) batteries, but only came with one in a ripped up box. We were cheated out of the second battery, as well as a new unit. The battery that we did receive was used and dirty. Now we know why they are going bankrupt. I had high hopes for Sears. The sad thing is when you return an item they keep your points and do not refund the correct amount. You then are on the negative side. I thought Sears had a policy of "Satisfaction guaranteed or your money back." Sears' policy today is "No satisfaction guaranteed, and you won't get your money back" even when it is Sears fault. I'm so totally done with Sears and Kmart. The return process is terrible, and try speaking with a live agent - What a joke!
