I love it has great power very light easy to use.
WE PURCHASED THIS UNIT IN AUGUST OF 2013. HAD THE UNIT FOR THREE DAYS ... HAD TO RETURN IT TO THE STORE. IT STOPPED WORKING. THE NEW UNIT WORKED FOR ABOUT TWO WEEKS ... IT STOPPED WORKING AND RETURNED TO THE STORE. GOT A SECOND REPLACEMENT. IN 2014 WE USED THE TRIMMER UNTIL SEPTEMBER ... IT STOPPED WORKING. THE UNIT HAD A TWO YEAR WARRANTY. WE TOOK IT TO SEARS UNDER THE WARRANTY. HOWEVER, WE WERE TOLD WE HAD TO PAY A $50.00 "HANDLING FEE". WE PAID $48.00 FOR THE ORIGINAL PRODUCT! WE DID NOT USE THE WARRANY AND JUNKED THE PRODUCT. WE PURCHASED A BLACK AND DECKER FROM ************.. WE WILL NEVER PURCHASE A CRAFTSMAN TOOL AGAIN!
This is not the most powerful weed whacker out there, nor is the auto-feed 100% faultless, but for the money it is excellent. It edges with a wheel, twists and extends to your height, and if you move methodically it will cut through any small/medium yard that needs shaping up. It also has relatively low vibration, which I appreciate bc I have carpel tunnel and small cycle engines do a number on me.
It is easy to use and does a great job
light weight, easy to use
I'm giving this 5 stars mostly on the strength of the customer service from Craftsman. The unit worked great for about four uses (perfect for my yard with 150' cord), then the feeder broke. Contacted Craftsman and they provided a voucher for the amount of my purchase, which I used to get another one just like it. They did require me to return the head from the broken unit but paid the shipping. The replacement has functioned flawlessly through the remainder of the season and the next.
This item is a good deal. The instructions were clear and simple.
I bought this weed eater for my husband and he has only used it a couple of times. From that usage we have not had any issues
This is a very good weed eater. It did the job very well I would recommend this weed eater to all my friends craftsmen is the only brand I would buy
