I got this set for my truck box and now I am never without a basic tool set to fix something or help a stranded motorist. I am a professional mechanic and I've been twisting wrenches for over 40 years now and this is the same Craftsman quality as they were back in the '70s. I don't know if these are made in the USA or not anymore but these are still the best quality tools you can get outside one of the mobile tool vendors we all know about. I bought another set for a family member as a gift. My only complaint is I wish there was a little more empty space in the box, since to really round this off nicely you need to add a set of pliers, and full-size screw drivers to the set. Otherwise you can't beat this set for price/quality, size and capability.
The set came missing the 1/2 inch deep socket. Instead, I got two 7/16. Sears is usually better than this.
Very satisfied with order process and product quality.
I received the tools a few days later than expected, only to find out that pieces were missing and the case it came in was broken. UPS tried to deliver it and I refused it due to damages. I talked to sears customer service about this and I am feeling there are giving me the run around, still haven't received a refund, and it has already been five days. Sears should have never shipped this tool set like they did, it was never boxed up and it came all the way from PA and I live in CA. Need to do better than that sears. That's why I'll continue buying form ******, whenever I have a problem with them, there customer service is a lot better to deal with. We'll see how long before I get my refund back.
