Riding mower

I might rate it 5 stars but I just got it and used it for the first time. I used it on hilly ground with 2 to 3 foot tall weeds growing, my only complaint was the tire would n lose traction and start spinning, will get some chains for that. It seems to have lots of power and is simple to operate.

I would re think my decision.

Received the lawn tractor as promised when I ordered it online. I removed it from the box, put gas in it. Installed the battery cable - sat in the seat, followed all startup instructions - turned the key and nothing, would no even make a noise. After recharging the battery, thinking that was it, still nothing - finally after going through the check list again still nothing, not even a sound. Put foot on brake pedal and pressed hard - then the mower started. ah, felt good. Don't know what happened. Got the mower under shelter and did not use for 2 days. My wife started mower up 2 days later and drove it around for about 15 minutes. Turn the key off and pulled the key out. Mower made a loud buzzing alarm sound and she could not figure out what happened. This did it for about 5 minutes then stopped. Mower would not start again, turned key and no sound no noise at all. Called Sears service and had to what 2 weeks before they could get someone out - yuk!! no priority to a new purchase customer. He showed up and finally figured out dead solenoid. Luckily he had part on truck - started right up. no problems since but it has only been 3 days.

Our son brought this for us as a gift due to him getting married. This tractor is fun and easy to use on our 10,000 square ft slope of a yard without any problems. Has plenty of power and speed. I would recommend the mulch kit
