The handles on the drawers are a little cheap. Drawers open and shut smoothly. It seemed better than the standard duty ones. Seems to hold alot of weight. Not bad for the average user, for a professional I would probably get something better.
Had ordered off sears.com. Using shop your way points I earned in March... (it’s the end of August now) so to clear up the pouts issue that took 15phone calls and 20 emails I was glad to finally receive my tool box. When I opened it up... it was crushed on one side and the lock was destroyed. Took it back to sears to get a different one but since it was sears.com I have to go through them. Awesome. If I’m lucky I’ll only have to wait another 6 months. Do yourself a favor and buy local.
Gift was a Christmas present, and he absolutely loved it. I thought it was going to be pretty small. When he opened it, very spacious. For someone that looking
to get there garage organized.
This cabinet is good heavy duty, nice smooth drawers but the casters are terrible, the cabinet wont roll good on it at all, i got longer bolts for the bottom and installed new casters from *****, now much better! would have been better also if rivnuts where used to mount the casters instead of just threading through the sheet metal
... to complete my black Craftsman Heavy-Duty stack of Top Chest and Intermediate / middle chest. Waited until price, points accumulated to spend, Cash Back in Points, and birthday Sears gift card came together for great deal on this. It was worth the wait, especially knowing that will be quality tool storage for a couple of generations or more. Thanks for all the years of affordable quality tools, organization, and storage gear!!
Chest is ok but drawers did not have liners. Simple addition would improve Sears reputation for quality.
