The rolling tool box is a good option for a work table with drawers. In addition to the tool box I purchased three butcher block tops. The intention is to attach a miter box to the butcher block. The tool box was on sale for $100 and the butcher block was on sale for $20. Options exist for percentage discounts in addition to the sale price. I recently purchased the $169 model also. The quality is in line with the price for both models. The unit did not include instructions. The unit did include a caster kit with casters and metal clips. The unit also included one drawer liner. The casters fit without issue but the metal clips and the drawer line would appear to be for a different unit. The metal clips would appear to fit nowhere. The drawer liner is much too large and would require trimming. The drawers will not hold heavy items. The unit is not heavy duty so do not expect the unit to travel to and from a job site without issues.
I have always believed in the old adage that you get what you pay for. This is a piece of junk. I only bought it because I have some very light things to store, no more than 10 to 15 lbs. per drawer. One drawer came off the flimsy track the first couple of times I used it. When I put it back it comes off again as soon as I try to open it. I will now cut my losses and buy a decent one. I wish I had spent more money and got a quality cabinet in the first place.
This is a nice cabinet for light tools the doors can not handle have tools. This was my first Cabinet so I now know what to look for
This unit looks very sturdy for the price.
There were 3 hooks in the box for peg board but i could not find a place to use them.
Would have liked it in red to match my other craftsmen 3 draw tool box.
