This compressor is great for the home handyman with nice capacity and consistent output. Only drawbacks to me are the noise level and frequent running while using an air tool.
To be honest I do not know why they sell this unit with an impact wrench. It was not able to take off my tire lug nuts. I even tried another impact just to make sure that was not the issue and it was not. So I put it to the side and grabbed my hand ratchet and loosened them with one hand. Do not buy if you are a home enthusiast mechanic. I ended up returning it and getting the next model up with 5.1 cfm at 90 psi with a 33 gallon tank.
Air compressor works great builds up PSI quickly unfortunately I have had issues with impact wrench. Sears customer service has tried to send me a new one I'm having difficulty because they have multiple shopper ID numbers for me. I shop at Sears for the convenience and good customer service unfortunately they are not doing well so far.
Too early to tell but doing well so far. A little loud but can live with that.
I purchased this item in June of 2018. A week ago it quit working. Motor just froze up. I spent over an hour being transferred from one customer service person to another just to find out they will do nothing. This should not be a disposable item. Sear/Craftsman used to be a quality brand that stood behind their products. Not anymore. They will not replace this item nor did they have a solution for it to be repaired. Last craftsman compressor lasted over 10 years. 1 year and 4 months is not an acceptable life expectancy for this type of product. Very disappointed in Sears and the Craftsman brand for not standing behind their product and making it right. I will not buy from them in the future.
The compressor is a good size for home use it's not too big or small. Quality is good and seems like it will last a while and I have no complaints about the compressor. I wish the air tools that came with it were better quality.
