I read the reviews on this on other mtd brands and for the price it is what I needed. I have cut 2 acres twice so far and it is a Hoss! now my girlfriend wants to cut the grass all of a sudden. I used my shop your way awards and got this for 2550.00 plus tax. I love using my Sears card.
Seems to work really nicely. Only thing it does need is a front center roller on the deck to roll over high spots. Beyond that so far so good. Great price too!
"Very impressed with my first Zero Turn Riding Mower", I purchased over a month ago! This mower operates with good power. Cuts my short and tall grass; helped eliminate having to purchase a separate large tractor to bush haul the tall grass and small mower for the short lawn. The powerful engine thrust keeps debris clear from under the mower when mowing, exactly what I needed thanks.
Its the best one that bought should last to the end of days. great deck
This zero turn is a fantastic mower for the price. A family mamber bought a Big Boy 60” zero turn for over 7k and I can tell you, for the price this 54” cant be beat. Mows really good!
We had to replace / upgrade our mower because we have about 3 acres to cut and using a 46" deck dinosaur just wasn't "cutting it". Looked at a number of zero turn mowers because that is the style we decided would work best for us and decided on the Craftsman 27775 because it had a 54" deck, 24 hp engine and most importantly, the fabricated deck. First time use observations were, this is a powerful mower and fairly economical as well. I spent exactly 2.1 hours cutting 3 acres on less than one tank of fuel. It has the power to cut at full speed without bogging down and it maneuvers well around obstacles. It was also the best price we found on a mower this size. I think it is a great compromise between the "commercial" mowers and the traditional lawn tractors. I am hopeful this unit will be durable as well. It does appear to be well made
