Typical Chinese Quality, chrome finish OK, however laser etching is sub-par and not real useful as it is inconsistent and mainly light and unreadable under most lighting conditions. But for under $1.00 per socket, would be hard to beet. I would have been willing to pay more for better quality, and even more if it was made in USA. Sears has the worst software system of all online merchants, deleted my $20 surprise point credit only after place order button. Had to call to get credit and would not credit tax back!
I placed an order for these in-store because they had none left in stock. As soon as I picked them up, I marched right down to the return desk. Some of the socks were already peeling and showing signs of rust before they even left the store. I also found a few duplicate sockets in the bunch, which likely means others were missing. I wasn't about to go through the hassle of trying to get exchanges for specific sockets, so I just returned the entire set before even leaving the store.
has everything i need to work on a car,
SEARS, STOP CLOSING YOUR STORES. BRING BACK HAYWARD,CA.
I am looking at a Sears Popup and It shows to sets of sockets advertised. I click on the lowered price set and got to the website and the price is over $100 different. Then wanting to know what is the difference between the two sets on the Popup I read with interest that there does not to appear any difference even though a delta in advertised price of about $100. I look at the model number and go to the other set and click on it. What? It is the same Model Number. This advertising if not bizarre is dare I say fraudulent. Sears will never make it back if this is there business plan.
I have been using these as my only set of sockets for a year and I have not striped any fasteners as of yet. For a dollar each, these sockets are great.
