As I read some of the reviews, they basically discouraged me to buy the saw as I had the previous CM model which was a disappointment. Anyway I thought the new version the CM guys developed should be better. To be honest I had to get use to the on/off switch at first but just finished 700 square feet of flooring......... I am more then happy with the results and still did not find the dangerous part, I had no kickback at all while I plunged over a 100 times. What IS disappointing me it seems some people write reviews without ever using the tool at all, really disappointing..... Coz, I never really write reviews I had to do it this time!
Saw worked great, unfortunately, no spare parts available period ! After the Sears Hardware representative spent 1 hour-45 mintes on the phone in-store trying to order my spare set of blades,this includes getting hung up on twice by Sears worthless customer service at their 1-800 number, finally to be informed they were back ordered, and could not even tell me an approx. date they may get them in. I came home, spent another hour on hold, finally gave up. read othe reviews, others that had purchased this saw had the same issue, NO BLADES AVAILABLE PERIOD ! Returned the saw today, got my money back, went an purchases the Rockwell Versacut at ******. Bought 2- extra sets of blades at store. Saleman advised they always have them in stock. I am a 35 year customer with Sears, their customer service sucks masively. VERY disappointed all the way around. Really thought this would be a fantastic product, boy was I wrong.

Well Made Specialty Tool
|I only used this twice since I got it. It doesn't work like any other saw I have experience with, so I figure there's a learning curve, or I'm as sharp as I thought I was.
It produces a LOT of sawdust that gets into every nook & cranny of the saw and needs a very good cleaning after use.
The guides that come with it will help produce accurate straight & miter cuts.

Quite a deal!
|I saw this online about the time of my birthday and thought it was a good buy at 45.99. But since then I have not seen it anywhere near that price. It's a little difficult getting used to the size and trigger on this model but for the price I am quite pleased with this purchase.
Nice tool but.....
|Nice kit. Not a real powerful tool but it is useful for small trim. The low star rating is because their are no replacement blades available. None ! Nowhere ! Not anywhere ! Can not stress that point enough !!! I did manage to find some reducing bushings that enabled a different brand of blade to work in this saw but only after I drilled the center out to accept the bushings. Sears needs to get it's act together and offer some replacement blades for this tool.
