The handle is to long and not of good quality so it bends when jacking the truck up.
I was very happy when I got this jack. The quick pump feature worked wonderfully when there was no load. After lifting my sedan twice, pumping reduced to a minimal amount. It takes about 15 pumps to get my standard sized sedan up. I bled the system, like the instructions recommended, but it did not help. I really hope SEARS helps me out and replaces the unit. Craftsman should be an excellent brand, but it's not. ************** has better quality jacks. That's pretty bad for Craftsman. Please help me SEARS. I want a new jack. Please do it at least for my safety. I feel like your jack will fail one day. Then you may find greater issues to deal with.
The box was nothing more than tape, and a lot of it. With the shape of the box, it was quite obvious that anything inside would be damaged. Trying to make an even exchange was impossible because of Sears return policy - it would have costed me more! Trying to tape up a damaged box with a damaged 100 lb jack inside and getting it shipped at the store took me at least an hour of my time. Total aggravation!
Ordered this jack hoping to receive it I damaged being that a tool box and lawn mower I bought in the past were damaged. Received the jack today 1/02 and the box was soaking wet, bolts missing, missing paint on the jack from being scuffed and the cover bent all to ****. Not a happy customer at all ??????
Sears sold to me as new an open box item. It was in a decimated box that someone tried to hold together with Sears tape. A LOT of Sears tape. Box fell apart trying to get the jack out only to find pieces missing. Customer service was less than helpful. Sears, I won't be back.
