All ways bought Craftsman tools

Bought 2 of these Ratchets, at same time. After about a year one would not even turn out a loosened bolt (low torque). Then about two weeks later number 2 did the same thing! These were not abused and oiled every time used, clean and dry air from the compressor. No more

Lacking a clutch, to prevent over torquing.

This is a satisfactory budget-version 3/8 air powered ratchet wrench. This is a wrench that I was able to purchase free with my shop-my-way points I had accumulated with prior store purchase points with Sears. The wrench is good enough to do jobs that aren't in a confined space (i.e. that could cause a situation where a user might get their hand torqued into a tightening position). This wrench does not have an over-torque clutch to prevent over-torquing situations (locking your hand in a painful position), which I view as a significant safety deficiency to prevent getting your hands squeezed into a locked position during tightening scenarios in confined positions. I've used this wrench in unconstrained situations, and it seems to be capable to untorque and retorque hardware up to approximately 8 ft lbs. It's a good enough pneumatic wrench, but it's a bit bulky to use in confined spaces.
