OK - Let's get one thing straight. This hammer isn't a sledge hammer and it isn't a rubber mallet. This tool is a Dead-Blow Hammer. It is designed for driving two pieces of wood together. It is most commonly used to drive pieces together for joinery. The head of the hammer is made up of multiple shot which absorb energy as the head strikes another surface. This provides minimum recoil.
This particular set of Dead-Blow Hammers is among the best I have ever used. I really like the shape and style of the handle grip. It is extremely comfortable and easy to grip. You will love it two, if you use it properly.
Been over a month and the first hammer never came, they sent a empty sealed envelope that the 3# hammer would not have fit in and blamed UPS! The second order they sent the wrong hammmer!
Come on Sears what is your problem!
Does no good to call customer service! I’ve spent over 3 hours on the phone with countless representatives and still no satisfaction!
Nice hammer and well balanced. The grip is firm. Nice!
I used this on a previous brake job to loosen a tight bolt . Worked well
Good quality deadblow hammer, 3 pound is a good weight. Seems to be well constructed and made with good quality material. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone in need of a dead blow hammer
