A GREAT BUY!

After reading some of the comments I was second guessing buying but I pulled the trigger and bought it's done I'm glad I did, this thing is powerful and easy to use it starts 1st pull every time even after cleaning my house and driveway. I'm telling you this thing is great and the selector nozzle is a big plus it makes switching the tips very easy and convenient. This thing has blasted all the oil spots out of my driveway I thought would never come out. I know it's a bit pricey but well worth it.

Hard to start

Bought this unit over a year ago to replace similar washer. It has been a horror show since day 1. They did away with the choke and sometimes after at least 50 attempts to start it I just give up. Wanted to stay with B&S based on past experience but this unit beat me and I am giving up and going to give another engine maker a chance. After 40 years with B&S engines I give up. New and improved is not always best.

Terrible Piece of Equipment

|

Got this power washer in July of 2015 and used it one time that summer to clean decks patio, some siding...maybe two and 1/2 hours of running time. Got it out in spring of 2016 and it would not start. Spent several weeks waiting for a repair. It came back with a note that I would not approve the $100 repair. I sent it back again because it had a two year warranty. It was returned and a note indicated that the carb was dirty and had to be replaced. I used it during the summer of 2016 for the patio, decks, etc., another several hours. Put it in a heated basement for the winter. Got it out today and tried to started it. Same thing all over again. No way to choke the engine. Could not get it to sputter. This is a totally worthless piece of equipment. If I didn't have to put a star in the review to get posted, I would put nothing. My neighbor has the same piece of equipment and the same problem. Sears should stand up and take the hit, acknowledge that the B & S engine set-up is junk and replace this poor product. Do not purchase.

Stay AWAY

|

I have had this pressure washer for 2 years and 9 months. I used it approximately 5 times. The pump went out and the repair shop wants more to replace then it cost to purchase a brand new machine. STAY AWAY.
