Bought this trimmer because of the 4-cycle and aluminum boom. Plus I've always had Craftsman product. This thing really cuts well. It also has a handle that moves in a bunch of positions. Craftsman is keeping up its brand with this one.
I am truly disappointed in this item. The gas trimmer its self is probably a good unit. Had I been informed as to the decitated trim line I would not have purchased the unit. If I had not used the unit or disposed of the boxes I would have returned the unit. I can not recommend this unit do to the large waste of cord wasted each use.
my 4th time broke and still going on
Product is good. Timely delivery. Unfortunately, will not purchase items too often due to no local Sears store in the area. Was regular shopper at Sear before closing the Sear (SOuthland Mall) store.
I used to have an echo weed-eater until I had a breakin and it was stolen. This was a great heavy duty 32cc machine which never quit, very easy to start and plenty of power. My finances now directed me to purchase this Craftsman weed-eater. This machine is difficult to start, the engine sounds and feels like it won't last (cheap). It has a vibration that made my arm buzz for sometime after using. This weed-eater overall does not feel to me a quality that I care for and for the price.
I do like this type of string head. I placed one of these on my Echo. Outstanding combination.
The first one I ordered, got lost in shipping. The second one I ordered, the plastic housing melted near the exhaust. The third one I ordered, works great. Love all the attachments.
Durable and always performs
