Gets the job done

The brush cutter attachment for my trimmer overall does a good job. It was very easy to attach to the trimmer. Once I had it attached, I started the trimmer and began to cut brush. When you first pull the trigger, it wobbles a bit and is loud, but once it gets up to speed, it levels out and works well. I began just trying to cut one piece of small brush at a time. I was trying to use it like a chainsaw. It worked, but took some time. Then I began using it like a trimmer. I began using a swinging motion from side to side to sweep the area I was cutting. This was very effective. It took down every piece of brush in its way on the first try. Other than it being a lit wobbly in the beginning, I think this is a great attachment. It has saved me a lot if time. I would recommend this for anyone looking to clear out some brush.

Turns into more work

I bought this in spring of 2012. Worked great. I thought about future purchases for the accessories the main reason that we bought this one. It's much heavier than my old Weed Eater brand. We have about 250 yards of fence to trim under and a steep bank to weed eat, the bank generally takes about 1-1/2 hrs. to do. Plus aroud trees and sidewalks, etc. This spring the weeds get wrapped around the shaft and the guard. It takes a lot longer to untangle the mess than it does to get it wrapped up in there. For the price I would not buy again.

Brush cutter

It has a small path, but will cut down the big old dry thick trunk weeds and vines easily.I used it in my ditch that is about 400 feet long.
