i purchased this craftsman stratton side lawn mower and its powerful. putting it together couldnt have been easier. i didnt think a push mower would be this easy to use.
Briggs & Stration motor runs good, underside of mower deck has no paint/bare metal which tells me it'll rot out in 2 years....
It work great for small yard. I like it.
I just recently used my lawn mower a week ago. The screws on the side that hold the bars out/attached to the mower fell off first time using it. I tried to use it without but I dont want to do so. What shall I do? It does cut nicely and wish the oil was more easily accessible. But hey it cuts well on any level. But the screws vibrate off making me go straight and back to not buckle.
works great and does a good job for the price
it is what it is.. a cheap mower, had patches of clover at new house and went to push mow.. clover was about 3 inches tall mower shut off twice when mowing due to it not being stout enough to handle thick grass like that, wasn't going thru fast either just not enough power to handle that, might as well spend the extra and get more hp mower
My old mower at the end of mowing season last year. I bought this mower over the winter. I have used it a couple of times this year. It starts good. Once I got the deck height ajusted, it rolls pretty well over rough ground. I have a bad lower back so push mowing is hard on my back before. With the new mower it is alot easier on my back. It is very good on gas. This is one feature I was amazed at. One tank of gas in the mower equals to 3 tanks in my old mower. The one thing I would like to see impoved is the side discharge chute. From time to time when pulling the mower backwards the chute gets caught on the rear wheel. Otherwise I'm happy with the mower.
