Excellent mower

Was bit worried at the first with AWD(all wheel drive) thing as my backyard is having very uneven surface but still works great. Good to have this as it is fast in mower, works with less effort and also it saves time. Good Price

Leaves chunks of grass behind

The mower is powered adequately, starts right up, AWD works great. However, it consistently leaves chunks of grass behind when in mulch mode. The problem lies with the bagging area insert that is in the rear. Grass builds up and keeps dropping behind the mower. So frustrating! This may not be a problem if you bag your grass, but my yard is huge. I will not bag my grass, never have with past mowers.

Underpowered

|

I like the All Wheel Drive, but this does not have the power to run all four wheels and mulch. Unless the grass barely needs cutting, I cut about half the width of the mower to prevent it from stalling. When it stalls, it is hard to restart with the partially mulched grass in the blade. In effect, it is a 14" mower, not 22". I would only recommend this to someone who bags their grass (which I do not recommend doing ... lol).

What I needed

|

Rough terrain with steep banks are why I opted for all wheel drive. While it does require muscle to turn around, all i do is squeeze the red handles and go. I really like this mower.
