Last year I bought a new but cheap mower. Took forever to put together, parts broke, bla bla. This year it wouldn't start. Bought this. Arrived in 1 day. Surprised that setup took all of 10 minutes. Had to check instructions 3 times to reassure myself. After putting in oil and gas....now this is the awesome part....it started on the very first freaking pull. WOW. FWD took a bit of getting used to. Lawn was done in half the time and I wasn't heaving like Homer Simpson. Very happy with the results. And this from a guy who hates yard work.
Mower worked well for one season. Stored over winter and the PLASTIC carburetor gummed up the jets and it will not start. 2 year warranty is useless (and extremely difficult to nail down a place to take it to) as they state it is a fuel problem. Ethanol gas kills the cheap plastic carb. even when using less than 10% ethanol. I will never buy another mower that has a plastic carburetor and recommend that you avoid them, as well. This engine is designed to fail. VERY disappointed in Briggs & Stratton.
I am very happy with the mower. It self propelled, all I had to do was steer from behind.
I bought this because of price but turned out to be better than the higher priced ones
Not sure what to think yet. First time I used it engine kept sounding like it was going to die. 2nd time I used it was fine. 3rd time I used it I almost couldn’t get it to start. After about 2 minutes of pulling it finally started. I guess we will see what happens next week for the fourth time.its a new lawn mower. I don’t think I should be having problems with it yet. Probably should of listened to the reviews.
already broke used three times
