Last year I bought a new but cheap mower. Took forever to put together, parts broke, bla bla. This year it wouldn't start. Bought this. Arrived in 1 day. Surprised that setup took all of 10 minutes. Had to check instructions 3 times to reassure myself. After putting in oil and gas....now this is the awesome part....it started on the very first freaking pull. WOW. FWD took a bit of getting used to. Lawn was done in half the time and I wasn't heaving like Homer Simpson. Very happy with the results. And this from a guy who hates yard work.
Mower worked well for one season. Stored over winter and the PLASTIC carburetor gummed up the jets and it will not start. 2 year warranty is useless (and extremely difficult to nail down a place to take it to) as they state it is a fuel problem. Ethanol gas kills the cheap plastic carb. even when using less than 10% ethanol. I will never buy another mower that has a plastic carburetor and recommend that you avoid them, as well. This engine is designed to fail. VERY disappointed in Briggs & Stratton.
This was purchased to replace a existing lawnmower. It cranks on 1st pull and has a self propel which my husband loves. I like the fact It has check and fill feature for oil. I have a hilly backyard and this mower just glides and takes off, cutting my yard in no time. The bag is great for mulching and easy to remove. I plan on keep buying Troybilt, never can go wrong.
This is an awesome little mower. We have about a half an acre and it works great. It starts with one pull and it's easy enough for my 10 year old to use. The only downfall is the bag does fill up kind of quickly. We used the mulching feature for the first time yesterday on some piles of leaves and it worked out nicely, it saved on a bunch of raking!
Purchased as a present for my son who bought his first house. He loves it!
easy to operate.
