This mower starts effortlessly. It works well and is a pleasure to use. But before you buy it you should be aware that essentially the same mower, sold under the Troy-Bilt name, is available from ****** for substantially less money. Obviously Troy-Bilt manufactured this for Sears. I wish I had noticed that before buying it.
I got this mower as a gift for my birthday; I thought itwas going to be awesome.... But I have had issues with this mower since day one! When it runs, it work perfectly, that WHEN it runs. It is temperamental, it will start up and run fine then when I stop to empty the grass it doesn't want to start, push button or pull start. I have wasted hours on end trying to get this thing to start consistently. The engine is a B&S made in the USA and you would think it'd be good; but you'd be wrong. Every other of the many B&S engines I have had over the years has never given me a 10th of the trouble this one has since the first day. Maybe next time I buy a mower with a Honda engine, B&S has gone to junk!
Great product, my previous Craftsman Lawn Mower lasted more than 10 years !!!
Only used this twice before you sent me this review form. Really like the push button start and the fact I do not have to change oil. Had to buy this because the other craftsman I had lasted only 27 years. ;) Would recommend this to anyone.
So far everything works great on the mower. One wheel cover was lose in the package when received but was a quick fix to remount. Mower started immediately with push-button starter once battery was charged. Might be a challenge for me to remember to remove the charger line; instructions say not to charge for more than 8 hours.
Ordered online to pick up at the store, brought it home and it was leaking and missing parts. No one answers the phone and can't talk to anyone either at the store or any other numbers! Can't even use it and paid $500!
