Craftsman 21 inch Mower

Purchased this mower for medium size yard. Machine works great. Rear wheel drive pulls hills with no problem. Also leaves a great cut. If you read the description of this mower it does what it says with no issues. It's not bush hog so don't expect that, but for average yard that is maintained you will not be disappointed. Engine has plenty of power to get job done and the price right.

Lawn mower rear wheel drive

Out of the box, assembled, gas and oil in, does not start, recoil system does not work. What happened to quality control ?

Good mower, starts easy and climbs hills like they were not there. Very happy with the mower.

DO NOT BUY. Item is junk!

|

Quality is pitiful. I used it 1 time and the rip cord assembly broke off as I was using item. I called Sears and they told me I have to take it to a repair shop which is over a hour away. After pushing to just get the part so I can fix it myself I was told this part is not even covered by warranty. I would have to pay for it. It was $46 and I kept getting transferred and at the end I am going to trash a $300 mower only used 1 time. Its crapsman not craftsman!

I used it 2 times already and so far so good with no problem

|

I bought it new a month ago and so far so good with no problem. I noticed that the rear-wheel drive self propelled is very strong and way better than the front-wheel drive self propelled. If you want self propelled feature, rear-wheel drive is the one to go; I owned two front wheel drive self propelled craftsman lawnmowers in the past and I felt that they were not strong as this one with rear-wheel drive self propelled.
