I recommend this compressor, but there are a couple things you should know. I bought it for finish nailing and it works perfectly well. I like how compact it is with the 4 gallon tank. While it cycles on more frequently than say a 6 gallon unit when running the nailer, it's not like a 1 or 2 gallon unit that has to run constantly. Here's what you need to know: it's heavy (maybe that means it's well built), the pvc hose is a joke, and so is the accessory kit. Buy it, but you'll immediatly want to spend money on a genuine rubber hose and you'll probably need more connectors - it doesn't even come with enough parts to quick connect the blow gun for example. Making an honest apple-to-apples comparison, however, most, if not all, other low priced compressors come with pvc hose too so this cost will get you no matter what. I don't regret buying it at all, and the service at my local store was great.
Just purchased this compressor with a 3 year replacement warranty. Plugged it in and the compressor was leaking air from behind the black cover. Could not get pressure above 80lbs. Quite disappointed that I know have to trek back to sears and get a replacement. I've read other reviews with this exact same problem. Hopefully sears read these reviews and report these issues back to their manufacturers and their qc teams. I certainly expect more from a craftsman product.
Used the product for pumping up tires and it is working great! Good value!
ordered it on the second received it on the third and it works perfectly.
Item works well, I guess. Bought accessory kit from Sears, am having trouble with quick-connect adapter.
The customer service was great from ordering to pick up.
Great for the Garage
Does the job for inflating toys, rafts car and trailer tires. Will not work well with air tools. You will need a larger compressor for that.
Great Purchase process however, when my husband opened it up, there were no attachments, absolutely nothing. Be forewarned, no attachments come with this, you will have to buy it separately.
