what a deal

I got this for a few dollars by using rewards, and i think it was *************. I had a set of craftsman box end ratcheting wrenches but they were stolen along with a tool box and have been looking ever since, but the open end design really makes more sense. Just a real nice set, and you might be wary of a ratchet design but craftsman tools are lifetime guarantee so I'm not worried.

Fell apart with 2nd use. Not what I expected

The concept is great. They have the potential to be excellent in tight spaces. However, The 2nd time I used the 1/2" wrench, the roll pin either broke or fell out. The little catch piece that jams against the bolt fell out and went missing. When I returned it to the store for a replacement they told me I needed to bring the full set back. Not I must make a 2nd trip to the store. Hopefully I just got a bad run. It happens I guess. I think I'm more upset with the local store customer service at this point. Regardless, if you purchase these make sure the spring loaded piece on each is secure before leaving the store.

It is good to have a ratcheting open end wrench in tight spots like under a sink.
