Must follow the pre use directions before use

This is an ausom jack. I don't know why it has such a low rating. In the directions before using this jack it says to bleed it. There is air in the jack because of shipping. With that being said if you don't bleed it before use you will blow the seals. This will cause it to leak oil and not lift like it was designed to do. Just follow the simple directions that come with the jack and you won't go wrong.

Poor quality!!

Followed the set-up instructions for bleeding the valve. Jack worked well for 3 months then it started leaking and dropping under any load. Used in a homeowners garage, so nothing heavy was ever lifted. Worst part about it the Sears store would not stand behind the product and told me to bad.

Strong sturdy jack for the price. Was a really easy choice to lift my 60000 lb truck. Awesome CRAFTSMANship. You’ll get your moneys worth for this jack.

Works Well?

I bought this jack blind, without having read any reviews. When I finally read them, I was surprised at the low rating. A lot of the reviews here state that the jack failed after like 3 or 4 times. So, in order to test this complaint, I brought it to work. Now, I work at a tire shop, so we jack up vehicles all day long. And that’s exactly what I did. I left it holding up big vehicles, just like the 2 1/4 ton Napa jacks we normally use, and nothing happened. No catastrophic jack failure, no pissing fluid, no dropping down at all. It stood up to the test, in my opinion. (P.S. I followed the directions and bled it first)
