Great quality. Heavy duty. Excellent price.
Do not buy this toolbox. I've had to get another brand, because SEARS WON'T fix the one I had that broke. It is a waste of money. Buy another brand.
This tool chest is hard to find on the floor at any of the big box stores, had to order it on line from Sears and picked it up at the local hometown store. Great price and good quality. This tool chest fits perfect in my limited available space. Heavy duty construction, all my tools that I have acquired over 30 + years fit nicely with some room to add more.
I got a pretty good price on this cart from sears.com. It was shipped to a local sears outlet and it arrived in good shape. I had to go pick it up. Carton dimensions are 43.25 x 20.375 x 36.5.
It was well packaged and there was no damage. All you have to do is attach the casters and handle. Casters were no problem. The handle is another story. This is where there is room for improvement. The handle is attached with four sheet metal screws and this is really not sufficient in my opinion. I tightened one of the screws and it stripped. At that point I decided to through-bolt the handle to the cart. I used 1/4" x 3/4" bolts with flat washers on both sides and a nylon lock nut on the inside of the cabinet. It's a little tricky to do this assembly. You will need patience and medium to small hands. You'll also need a wrench to hold the nut inside the cabinet, because there is no room for a socket. It might be easier to put the nut on the outside of the cabinet but it probably looks better the other way around. Anyway I was able to get it done but it added an hour to the assembly which otherwise would take about 20 minutes.
The cart does not come with drawer liners so I bought two rolls of the Husky 18 x 100 inch Black Premium Solid Drawer Liner from **********, $10 per roll. Highly recommend that material and two rolls worked out perfectly to do all 10 drawers.
I rated the product 4 stars because of the handle but otherwise I'm pleased with the cart.
Ordered product from the website on 1/6/19 with expected arrive of product at my local store on 1/17/19. Contacted sears on 1/19/19 to ask for order status. 30 minutes later I received a text message saying the product was ready for pickup. Went to store on 1/20/19 to pickup product. Checked in at pickup and my order was marked complete after 4 min 15 seconds. They have a 5 minute wait time KPI before you get coupons for your next visit. 10-15 minutes later they come out to tell me they dont have the product and tell me they will call me when it comes in. Call CS on 1/26/19 for a status update and they tell me the item have been picked up already. Tell them the backstory and they say the store will call me. Store calls same day says prod is out of stock and discontinued. Gave me a refund.
Very well made, got item for good price. Did lots of shopping before purchase. Should have come with drawer liners, then would have given 5 stars.
Sears told me they had one in stock in jersey after I purschase it come to find out they didn’t and told me they had to order and ship it to the store waited a couple Weeks to find out it would be there on the 15th of January then they canceled on me and told me I was the one who canceled called the store and they didn’t even have it in inventory I would think if something was to be shipped to the store and was there on that date it would still be there but it wasn’t sears is bs and now I gotta wait longer for my money back
