I ordered this from Sears.com late at night on 10/11, it shipped on 10/12 and I received it at my front door on 10/13. Assembly only took a few minutes (a matter of connecting the blower tubes) and mixing the included 2-cycle oil with a gallon of gas. Starting the unit is relatively easy, except it requires 2-5 quick pulls. This may be slightly difficult for some, but this model is equipped with Speed Start. What they don't tell you is that you need to buy an additional "accessory" to get this to work! After looking it up online, I found the Speed Start accessory is an additional $50. I wasn't very happy to find this part was not included. I purchased this specific model so my wife could use the Speed Start. As for the actual leaf blower, starting it involves switching the choke to the "Start" position, priming it about 10 times and then pulling it started. After it starts, wait a few seconds and then you're ready to go. Once you give it gas, the choke will automatically go to the "Run" position. Easy enough! Using the blower was very easy! It's equipped with two handles to make carrying it around your yard much easier. On the lowest speed, I was able to blow the leaves off my rubber mulch without disturbing the landscaping and on the highest speed, it blew the leaves hard and far! I have not tried the vacuum on the blower, but that's next on my list of things to try. Overall, I'm very happy with it and would definitely recommend it to someone.
The picture for this blower is shown with the electric start and even talks about the electric start in the description which is why we purchased it, but it DOES NOT COME WITH THE STARTER. Costs another $50 will probably return it because of the deception.
When you are paying this type of price point you expect to receive a well made machine. After following directions the primer would not work, rendering the blower useless. Now I have to take it apart and fix whatever is clogging the system. Really?
Don't know why this feedback is asked for when brand new, when it should be asked a year or more after purchase. Only quality tools will last over a year of such kind.
