This Thing is Very Good. It Starts right up, No Hassle with the Wire at all plus the Threaded wire last 10 times as long as the Single wire. It's one of the Best Inventions and it's nice to be a Multi Tool...
Just finished edging my lawn, and I am really mad. Worst line feed system ever invented. First, try to load the line (only 6 feet at a time). First, you have to get it started. After about 10 tries, you may get the line to actually wind. But, about 2 feet in, it will get stuck. Maybe you can free it up, otherwise you just cut off the rest. Then you start trimming and now you really get mad. I wear out a spot in my lawn trying to get the line to feed out, then I try to pull out the line manually. Sometimes this works. Other times the spindle won't turn. So you open it up, or try to. It's getting colder outside, so the plastic a bit more rigid. So it requires 2 screw drivers to get the stupid thing open. Same process if the line breaks off. So, if you're lucky, you can free up the stuck line, otherwise you just remove what's left and go back to the beginning of this ridiculous process and start over. If you do free it up, you put the cap back on and end up with too much line, which does not get cut off by the cutter, but wraps around the shaft. Cut if off at the correct length and begin trimming again. At this point, any one of the previous problems can reoccur. I'm really stupid. I bought this thing, then when the head fell off, I returned it a got another. CRAFTSMAN - how can you design such a worthless system? You could not possibly have done a worse job. I'd love for someone from Sears to contact me about this. I dare you.
Worst weed hacker to have ever been invented. literally impossible to have auto feeder option actually work. It is horrible and does not handle the job!
I will make it short. I have lived in my home for 31/2 years and I am taken my 2nd one in for warranty work and if they don't fix it I will be on my 3rd which will FOR SURE be a much better brand
I purchased this in the attempt to get more power over my electric weed eater I was proud after the first use but by the third the weed cutting head is no longer cutting. I contacted kmart, sears and craftsman to get it serviced. No luck thus far, still awaiting a return call from a supervisor.
But I need to weed. I have trouble replacing the plastic "cutter" every time. Is this compatible with Craftsman 41AJCB-C799 Gas Trimmer Blower Attachment?
