I?m a professional mechanic. With that being said, I would never put this in a shop environment, but it?s perfectly at home in a garage or basement, of which I have mine in the latter. Judging by the screws used to put it together, I would never have expected it to be as sturdy/stable as it is. I would have preferred machine screws, but the supplied hardware works out. It does not wobble. It?s larger that any of the other workbenches I?ve seen or owned. Well worth the money and I?m contemplating getting another as you can never have too much space for tools.

I so wish I would have headed the warnings from the other reviewers on how poorly packaged this workbench is. Mine was delivered from a warehouse just 2 hours away, yet arrived completely damaged. Rather than dealing with boxing it back up, dealing with customer service, and returning this 100lb+ pile of sheet-metal, I attempted to assemble it. The damaged pieces made it much more difficult to assemble. Multiple pieces, (and I mean multiple) arrived damaged. We?re not talking just scratches, we?re talking dents. Lots and lots of dents. So bad, that the screw holes wouldn?t line up until I hammered the dents out. Then I had to follow up with paint to touch up the areas were the paint has popped off. The plastic on the drawer handle is also busted in two. After it was assembled, it in my opinion looks very cheap. I?m very, very unhappy with it. If you get this free or close to it fine, but it?s definitely a purchase I regret. It?ll look fine in a dark corner of your unfinished basement. But if you think you?re gonna be showing this workbench off to the guys, think again.
