Unlike most Craftsman sockets these days, these are still made in the USA (probably the last of the USA stock they have). Get em now before they all become the Chinese sockets....
these work pretty great on ratchets that use a detent pin. But the ratchet I bought to use with this set uses a friction ring (very common style). These are pretty much unusable as the sockets fit far too loose.
Also, I put these on a impact driver (not impact wrench), which puts out less than 100 ftl bs of torque. The corners of these sockets show significant wear after just a few minutes of use with this gun. the metal is very soft. The sockets in the 301 piece ************** mechanics set I also use shows no signs of wear after used on the same gun and even a impact wrench.
The on-line pic showed a nice socket set in a carrying case and that's what I ordered. Surprise was on me when the socket set came all bagged up in a box with no case.
If it says Craftsman you know its good quality and they guarantee their product i just like to put that out there cuz that's why I buy there product... These sockets are good quality and easy to read i wanted these sockets for awhile and glad i got them during Christmas sales
