I have one vehicle that has a side terminal battery. Undoing a terminal has always been a bit of an adventure. A socket wrench doesn't fit and an combination wrench, or adjustale might short against the oter terminal, either by accident or carelessness. The thick insulation on the handle and the reversible ratchet make this chore relativly easy.
Additionally it is made in the U.S.A, and carries the Craftsman hand tool warranty This is a weclome addition to my toolbox.
Went to change the battery on the wife’s car and couldn’t fit a regular wrench in that right space. This came in handy made it so easy to swap the battery. Best of all it was made in the USA.
If you have a side terminal battery, you should have one of these. Compact for tight places. UInsulated handle prevents shorts. Reversable without removing the tool.
Should have a break away torque limiter at 5 lbs/ft or click.
