I am very pleased with this toolbox. I have a much older one similar to this one, but the top section has 4 drawers. The ball bearings are a great improvement when you start getting heavier drawers. For the price, I was a little bit cautious, in fear of the toolbox being weak or flimsy, but I am glad I was wrong. It seems well built, but only time will tell. For my use, this toolbox was a great addition to the one toolbox that was getting over full and becoming a mess. I am a heavy do it yourselfer and have many tools to do quite a range of jobs. I don't believe in buying $1000 toolboxes just to have some monster of a chest to dig through. With 2 average size toolboxes and some shelves, I have more than enough room. Now that I bought a second toolbox, I can be a little more organized and add even more tools. All in all, I feel that this was a good buy, and if you are just a homeowner who has a basic set of tools, this will serve you well. For a mechanic, it serves me well, but it is all about your preference. If you are going to be slamming drawers carelessly like some, maybe you should be looking for something a bit more heavy duty. If you take care of your stuff like I do, this should work well.
Bought this item, when I got it home and partly assembled, I discovered the roller bottom drawer slides had lost the Ball Bearings. The parts were there, but I couldn't repair my new tool box. The box I received looked OK, but the tool box had small dents, the top was stored in the bottom section. Bolted in and one of those was damaged also. Returned the cheaply made item.
This tool chest is the perfect fit for a small garage and holds plenty of hand and power tools. Can't go wrong with this item.
Going into the store I thought it was not worth the money, but after after the discounts and warranty it was well worth the price. Craftsman is a household name for a good reason.quality
I am happy with the tool chest but not happy with the Sears Your Way process. Sears Your Way kept sending me notices that the product was available, but in reality it wasn't. I waited over 6 weeks to finally find it at a local store. However, because of the problems with finding the item and the website, Sears "awarded" me with a $7 credit. Bottom line, when I went to pick up the item, the store honored the internet price but NOT the additional award. Apparently, Sears online and Sears retail do not communicate on their programs. It took about 2 hours to get the chest into my car from the time I arrived at the store. I bought it because of the name - Craftman. However, I would never consider buying through the Sears Your Way program and frankly probably not through Sears ever again. It was a totally disappointing experience. No wonder Sears is struggling. Apparently, Sears has lost sight of the importance of customer retention. FYI, I put a review on your Facebook page. And to no surprise, I never heard from anyone at Sears.
great product great price on sale to bad it was such a pain to get.
Great cabinet for organization and storage, the bottom is great for holding power tools.
Great box for the price. Needed some extra storage for tools in the garage and this is perfect.
was able to use a lot of my reward points on this one which brought it down to like $40, so Heck yes! drawers are smooth, casters smooth, and sturdy
