This is the first review for a product that I have taken the time to complete, ever. I am a husband, father and homeowner who was raised on craftsman products. I own and have accumulated a wide variety of craftsman tools and accessories and overall I am quite happy with their performance. This vac has out performed any exceptions I had when I purchased it over three years ago. I have a single door two car garage and I mounted the vac on the back wall. With both hoses connected i can reach the entire garage. I have never had a problem with the hose locks, or loss of suction with both hoses connected. In fact, I keep the hoses connected all the time. The remote switch is awesome. Having the ability to turn it on and off from the handle is great. The attachments work as expected and store nicely on the main unit. The suction and power is more then enough to clean your car and the dirt, leaves and such that get into the garage. I have twin three year old girls and you would never know how messy they can be looking at the interior of my cars. If I was going to make any improvements I would mount a couple of L.E.D. lights at the handle to better light up the work area. Overall I don't have a single complaint about this vac.
I liked the product but went to turn it on after about 1 month of no use and it started to make electrical crackle and popping noises, and shoot smoke out the exhaust.
Only used it briefly in my woodworking shed. The remote worked great. Very quiet machine with lots of suction. Hopefully it will last as long as the previous Sears Wall Mount.
