i waited a while to leave a review . here are my thoughts for $100 bucks this wall mounted vac is good and takes up less space then your traditional shop vac . i can tell you that this is better then the kobalt wall mounted vac that is sold at ***** for the same price. i belive this vac is made by VacMasters http://www.vacmaster.com/product.cfm?p=16 they look very identical. just hope sears dont discontinue the accesories. Overall it does everything i need it to do
note to all users do not leave the power on button on wireless it will get hot if not in use put it in the middle off position.
I like it BUT: It was supposed to come with a 21ft hose. Mine is only about 11ft. There is another hose with it (more flexible). If I hook them together it is about 20ft total but they do not lock together so if you pull very hard on it they will come apart. Very annoying when you are reaching to get debris farther away. The card on the shelf at Sears says 21ft secure hose but that is not true. I had to purchase an extension hose for an extra $35.00 to get my 20ft reach. I would not recommend this to anyone without telling them all the facts.
I owned a craftsman wall mounted vac for a least the last 10 years. It finally burned out the motor, BUT, it was such a great vacuum I bought another. Ive had this about a month now. This one is a little bigger, but hangs on the wall fine, and, I really like the utility bin below the vac
It’s awesome I can keep every thing stored together on its mounting rack. Portable. Long hoes. Remote on/off switch on end of hose. I got the vac. To clean my cars. But I use it for every vacuuming cleaning job.
I purchased this vac 18 months ago and have only used it for vacuuming our car and the garage floor. I have only used the vac for light duty and I use it once a month. It failed yesterday. I contacted Sears about warranty coverage and was told it was only a year. After being transferred 7 times...the lady told me it would be a minimum of $50.
$50 for just checking it out and the replacement cost is $110?!?! What a waste. I’ve a Ridgid that has lasted me over 6 years!! I have spent tens of thousands of dollars over my life with craftsman tools, lawn equipment and such. After this experience...JUST SAY NO TO CRAFTSMAN AND SEARS!!! I have a ********** and a Lowe’s that are much closer and have treated me much better than this shirking of customer service!!!
