I picked up this set and replaced my mis-matched odds and ends that I had collected. These tools are built to the same design specs as their bigger brothers. I love the padded case that keeps them clean and organized in my tool chest.
Pick up a set today - you'll thank me tomorrow!
I used to buy only Craftsman hand tools due to the lifetime replacement warranty and their being made in the US. But more an more craftsman tools are built cheaper overseas and sadly you get what you pay for. I bent the thicker pliers in this set trying to crimp a tiny connector. I was shocker and horrified to see how easily it was bent into a completely unusable shape. Honestly, I don't think I'm even going to bother getting it replaced under warranty. I used to think so highly of Craftsman but over the years the decline in quality has been ridiculous. I think I'm simply done with Craftsman entirely and will take my money elsewhere from now on. I'm even worried about the good quality craftsman tools I own. I mean, what good is a warranty replacement 5 or 10 years from now if the replacement tool is just going to be a piece of crap?
Yea , they are cheap , and from China , but so were my Gold and Black Professional set from years ago . Will see how the work and how long they last .
This set was a replacement for the set my stepson borrowed (took) from me.
I was a little disappointed since I discovered they were made in China :(.
And then, eventhough I can re-glue one padded side, it came loose the first time I opened it.
This is my third set and even as the quality has dipped a bit, they are still worth having a set around.
