Grabbed this set for my new large tool box. Received it in a few days at the store so shipping was fast. Tools came in a large 110lb box, set was separated into smaller bags each neatly marked with a sticker stating contents. No doubles or missing pieces out all 500 so I'm impressed after reading other reviews on here about similar large sets. No chrome chipping or rust on any of them. I took an oily rag and wiped down the outside an inside of every tool to prevent rust in the future as I pulled them all out the packaging. Don't underestimate trying to sort out a set of this size either, take your time and make sure everything on the list that comes with it is in the box as well. Overall I'm pleased with this massive set of tools and have spent a week sorting and putting them where I want them. (Not made in America btw but as long as they stand by the lifetime warranty I guess I don't mind too much)
I wish they were made in the USA like they used to be
Beautiful set of tools I bought for my husband. There was one tool he said he needed for a project he never had and glad I bought this set for him. He loves them! We got 500.00 in shop your way to redeem but I dont know how to find them???
Boxed end of wrenches are very loose. I don't understand how anyone can feel confident that these wrenches won't strip bolt heads or apply torque. Same fit as Stanley wrenches. Compared to a Snap On wrench and these wrenches are put to shame.
So I looked around a lot of different sets, I went with this one because it does not have a lot of smaller and cheaper tools like a 150count bit set used as fillers to make 500 pieces sound awesome. For years ive been using the nickel and dime collection bought as I needed things. I decided it was time to get a solid set to build on. The 82 tooth ratchets are awesome, favorite ratchets ive owned other than a 30 year old snap on one I found. If your on the fence about this kit, do yourself a favor and get it. It you work on stuff a lot like I do, it's well worth it. No it's not snap on. But its still solid. Only downside I have is the junky JUNKY screwdriver it come with. But that is the same with all craftsman screwdrivers.
sears lost my order so can't review it,
