I've had this for about two years now and I love it. It's got plenty of power/suction, and it's portable enough to take around the house when needed. I highly recommend this for the $50-60 price point. I think I had some freecash as well and got it for about $40. The one complaint I have is that the casters tend to fall off very easily when you pick it up. (Why not have clips to hold them?) I fixed that by putting some tape around the inserts to increase the friction.
I used my vacuum as part of renovating a house I bought. The supplied hose broke away from the connector that attaches clips on the vacuum after less than a month of usage. I would not buy again as the hose is going to cost half of a brand new complete set
I have been using Craftsman shop vacuums for over 40 years and have always found them to be the highest quality on the market, I have a 16 gallon model from the 1990's I use for my garage and outdoor work and it still works great, I bought this new Craftsman 6 gallon vacuum to use inside the house and update a 1990's 6 gallon model I previously used.
This new Craftsman 6 gallon vacuum runs great and is very powerful, the motor runs very smoothly. I am very pleased with the high quality and glad to see the inlet on the vacuum accepts the larger hose diameters. The price is a bargain for such high quality .
This is far SUPERIOR to the Shopvac I just junked and the larger Rigid I still own. The hose on the Rigid does not stay attached and the filter comes loose. The Shopvac is inferior in every way compared to this Craftsman. They did their homework when this was designed. Powerful and quieter than the smaller Shopvac and with a good size hose. Just looking at this unit it is obvious it is solidly built. I feel like I hit a home run with this purchase.
this thing really sucks! I love it and highly recommend it!
