I really love this set of jewelers screwdrivers. They are beautifully made with very fine detail work in mind. I have many sets similar, including a very nice older, made in the USA Craftsman set with the spinning top caps. This set is a bit different, in that it has butyrate handles which makes them more useful in some places. Again the overall quality is excellent. They are also made in the USA. As a side note, I really wish Sears would sell more USA made tools. I for one think even at a higher selling point they would gain many more sales in the end.
These "WERE" fantastic made Western Forge products. Once again Sears quietly replaces a great product with Chinese Junk. I was so happy to see these back in stock last week. I bought 4 sets, another for me to have a set in my office in addition to the one in my tool box (which has been great) and 3 for upcoming x-mas gifts. I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and on first use the middle size philips broke at the tip. Absolutely ridiculous. I went to my tool box to get the Western Forge version and took the **** out no problem. Sears just get on with going out of business and stop ruining the Craftsman name. I will not be giving the other 3 away now, I would trash them before doing that to a friend. At least on the SBD side of Cratsman they are begining to improve quality with Taiwan and USA products beginning to be available. Buy your Craftsman from them for the next 14 years and support a company trying to rebuild Craftsman not destroy it.
Not sure how I can review something that I never had the chance to use. I was sent a check for .88 cents in the mail like that was supposed to somehow take care of the problem.
