craftsman tripod

After looking around for a inexpensive tripod for a while I decided to buy this one I have used the tripod with a nikon d3100 and sony camcorder it's easy to use and sturdy. For the money this is the way to go.

Flimsy

When I first set it up I knew it reminded me of something but it took a while to figure out what it was. It reminded me of those Bobble heads that people put on their dashboards. Every joint in the head has play in it no matter how tight you try to tighten the knobs and as a result the level "bobbles" around. Very poor design in my opinion. The legs are fine but the head has a problem. The only good thing was that it was inexpensive.

This is a cost effective tripod that can be used indoors and some dry outdoors situations. It mounts my DSLR perfectly and is steady and doesn't wobble as I take pictures.

Good for what you need it for

not solid enough for a heavy DSLR camera, but for a level or light camera the price is perfect!
